Below you will find the answers to some of our most frequently asked questions related to entering a design contest. If you have additional questions that are answered here, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and you should get a response within 24 hours.
The contest winners will be announced during NCAC’s virtual event on November 11, 2020. You can register for this free event here.
Voting begins the day after the contest submission deadline. For Becky Albertalli’s fan art contest, voting is scheduled to start on October 12. Keep visiting this site and follow @creativeallies on social media for any announcements related to voting.
Email confirmations may take up to 24 hours to get to you. Please check all inboxes and spam. If you do not receive confirmation regarding your contest account you may email support at email@example.com. Support will need your email you used to register for the contest.
Please give up to 24 hours for support to get back to you. You can reach support for these contests through firstname.lastname@example.org! Support will need the email address you used to register for the contest if it is a submitting issue.
When you upload your submission to enter a contest you continue to own the rights to your original design, provided your design does not include a celebrity or brand’s name or likeness. If your design is selected as a contest winner, ownership of your design is transferred to the contest sponsor. The prize money paid to you as a winner, is payment for transfer of ownership.
All winners will be notified individually, after the announcements are made. Cash prizes will be distributed by Creative Allies through PayPal (U.S. or international) or a mailed check (U.S. only) within 30 days of the winner announcements. Non-cash prizes will distributed from each contest host, and delivered within 60 days of the winner announcements.
The contests are being run by Creative Allies. You will need to follow the contest links on this website to be connected to the Creative Allies contest entry page for each contest.
You are required to register for an account with Creative Allies before you can enter. The registration process takes less than 5 minutes.
For this contest series, only digital artwork will be accepted. Any hand drawn work, will not be approved and will not be eligible to win.
Once entries are received and approved, you will be able to view them on the contest page on the Creative Allies website (the same page where you can join the contest). You will see a tab called “All Entries” at the bottom of this page. Please allow some time after submission for them to be reviewed.
Absolutely. Please share your designs with your friends and followers. The Creative Allies team will share some designs as well on social media. And you never know, but the artists may see a few designs they want to share as well.
We are accepting digital artwork inspired by freedom of expression and anti-censorship. Each contest will have a different ask, but in general we want you to be as creative all possible. The only restriction is that any artwork with nudity will not be allowed for this series of contests.
